Overview

To effectively manage all creative and marketing aspects of assigned Ministry of Sound & Sony playlists. To manage all marketing activity in line with commercial objectives and approved M&P budget and manage all social output for playlists across the Ministry of Sound platforms. Build and maintain strong relationships with key Sony departments and external agencies/suppliers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage all playlists creative assets, delivering in a timely manner & within budget
  • Ensure creative excellence for all playlist covers, adverts, marketing campaigns and social media activity
  • Maintain the high creative standard expected from all Ministry of Sound products
  • To be aware of trends and opportunities that provides us with the chance to deliver new playlist  concepts and creatives
  • Develop strategies to best achieve campaign objectives
  • Analysis of playlist analytics, using these daily to guide creative decisions
  • Present new concepts for playlists using analytics and social trends
  • Liaising with all departments to oversee the creative process of playlists
  • Creating basic digital assets, videos, memes
  • Working closely with agencies and designers for exceptional creative delivery
  • Ensure timely delivery of all aspects of the marketing campaign in line with core project and approval route milestones
  • Ensure ‘best practise’ in all aspects of campaign execution; Media, digital/social media, video content curation, creative materials etc.

Person Specifications

  • Minimum 2 years media/creative industry experience (music industry preferred)
  • Experience with playlisting
  • Strong communication skills.  
  • Strong creative skills
  • Good knowledge of social trends
  • Ability to create basic assets such as memes, videos and Gifs
  • Impeccable organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to rally support with internal and outside partners
  • Commercially & creatively savvy
  • Confident in contributing to team discussions
  • Diplomatic attitude to manage numerous stakeholders to successful outcomes
  • Even temperament 
  • Have a keen interest in social media, trends and multi-platform fan engagement
  • An interest in Ministry of Sound and the playlist business
