Digital Sales Operations Coordinator

This role will coordinate all relevant operational tasks for the Digital Sales team, working closely with regional affiliates, operations teams (both central and local), release planners, Bus Ops, IS&T and retail partners to manage the execution of promotional and commercial activities for new and catalogue releases across major global digital partners.


  • Funnel all operations queries from the Digital Sales team by doing initial investigations where needed and then liaising with relevant business units to fix issues (i.e. Bus Ops for pricing, Ops for partner issues, release planners for product issues, affiliate ops for affiliate issues, etc).
  • Working with relevant team members to ensure commercial and promotional campaigns are successfully implemented, including but not limited to, product number collation, checking clearance, deliverability and pricing for products, amending product clearance details where necessary, advising Bus Ops on pricing needed and resolving issues where needed.
  • Clearly communicating campaign-related product status and any related issues to Digital Sales team or stakeholders.
  • Managing and tracking the setup of priority International products.
  • Running twice weekly delivery checks on upcoming international products and feeding back to the team.
  • Using relevant partner tools, including but not limited to, iTunes Connect & Scatman to monitor product issues, release dates, clearance information, product tickets.
  • Assist the Digital Sales team with ratecard tasks in conjunction with Business Operations – including but not limited to downloading, analysing & updating.
  • Evaluating operational processes on an ongoing basis and suggesting, where needed, opportunities for improvement.
  • Compiling and maintaining an accurate release schedule of all Sony priority upcoming international repertoire
  • Distributing release schedule to account managers and stakeholders.
  • Assisting affiliates & release planners regarding operational best practices.
  • Performing other related project work, research, reporting and administrative tasks in support of the Digital Sales teams as instructed by line manager or by the Digital Sales team on an ad hoc basis.
  • Contributing to new and ongoing team/department initiatives as required

Person Specifications


  • Understanding of the digital media marketplace and types of consumer services available
  • Thorough understanding of account management/client operations type roles with primary focus on customer service and experience
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to communicate complex processes to non-technical staff.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Highly organised and can multi-task while remaining calm under pressure.  
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload, goals, targets and time. 
  • Track record of managing many different needs and requirements at once.
  • Confidently deals with people at all levels internally & externally.
  • A team player who can be relied upon to participate as needed during busy periods.
  • Proven self-starter


  • International or multi-territory experience
  • Understanding of digital supply chain workflows
  • Experience in the music industry
  • Experience working with XML and digital products
  • Other language skills desirable 
  • Interest in new technology and industry developments
