Drive revenue from increasing streaming performance of company’s track business across all UK labels. Build excellence in play listing strategy across diverse genres and audience segments to meet forecast revenue targets.
Deep understanding of all client labels’ release schedule, maintain strong dialogue with key A&R and marketing teams to identify and maximise opportunities
Work closely with International marketing team to achieve revenue targets and assist in supporting label relations
Playlist road mapping for each release to build successful streaming strategies
Build strong relationships with marketing and sales teams in all key markets
Develop thought leadership and share best practice
Build and maintain key relationships with DSPs both centrally and in key markets
Develop strategy for Sony to become destination centre of excellence in global streaming targeting and performance. Over index in genres in which we are currently underperforming
Regular reporting/communication of results
Build confidence with labels that we understand and can deliver on tracks to optimize potential.
Help turn track success into artist development stories.
Background in music – label, digital partner, live entertainment or artist management.
Interest in working with diverse international markets
Strong understanding of streaming, playlisting and consumer behavior across dance, urban, pop and rock genres
Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in highly pressured and people facing environment
High EQ essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Results and delivery orientated
Ability to work with and understand different cultures
Must be passionate about music and open minded about different genres
Ability to share that passion and teach others
Must be a team player
Digital native with fluent knowledge of diverse media streaming platforms and audience behavior
