Overview

The Digital Video Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and management of releasing archive video assets to Vevo and YouTube for monetisation. This includes organization of incoming content, setting up release schedules, data management and archive research. This role also supports the endeavors of the Digital Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Assisting the Digital Coordinator with scheduling and release planning
  • Liaising with and coordinating internal departments to assist in content release
  • Raising PO’s
  • Maintaining artist database
  • Logging product numbers & ISRC’s

 

Research

  • Artist Audits – research of SME owned artist content for potential release
  • Archive audit. Liaise with Offsite archive for tape availability and delivery
  • BBC/ITV Licensed material research (Our artist performances on Top of The Pops for ex)

 

Video Optimisation / Marketing Tasks

  • Creation of marketing metadata, lyrics and keywords and entry into system to enhance searchability and increase revenue
  • Creation of links to Spotify, Apple Music and other relevant platforms
  • Creation of playlists for YouTube
  • Creation of assets for Vevo & YouTube– Video edits, Artwork, Skin, banner etc

Person Specifications

Essential

  • Video expertise. Understanding of production and post-production workflows
  • Possess previous similar digital asset production & management experience working across digital and physical media
  • Understanding of archive video & film format
  • Strong understanding of digital video platforms (YouTube)
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Very good understanding of the music industry
  • Familiar with operational workflows
  • Understanding of social media
  • Editing with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of video and audio production and file types
  • Microsoft Office
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and focused
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets
  • Good communicator
  • Positive attitude
  • Self-motivated

  • Administrative experience within music or video production
  • Video & photo editing

  • Social media channel management
  • Interest in music particularly in Catalogue and Legacy repertoire
  • Keen to develop the role and offer expertise and ideas for improvement
