To provide promotion support for Masterworks artists, albums & playlists. Maximising the UK awareness of international and local projects. Using existing relationships and creating new contacts to secure media coverage.


  • Long-term planning for artists on international roster
  • Focus on breaking new local artists
  • Apply creative ideas to concept albums and playlists
  • Generate creative stories, angles and headlines
  • Full understanding of artist/project background to ensure all potential angles are covered
  • Communication with editors, journalists, producers, bloggers, platforms, artists and management
  • Liaise with specialist 3rd party promoters & pluggers where applicable
  • Secure coverage in the best interests of artist/album/label/project
  • Arrange artist schedules and accompany to media bookings
  • Write and distribute media releases
  • Service watermarked album e-cards for review
  • Represent label at awards, events and concerts

Person Specifications


  • Contacts and good relationships
  • Sound understanding of music & media industries
  • Knowledge of major public-facing platforms, both online and offline
  • Ability to connect artist or project with the right target audience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with challenging personalities
  • Ability to write engaging media releases
  • Passionate about music
  • Creative, imaginative thinking and self-motivated
  • Calm and confident under pressure



  • Experience delivering 360 campaigns in a creative brand
  • Experience with both established and developing artists
  • Awareness of digital & social campaigns, turning marketing ideas into media stories
  • Knowledge of ‘mature’ and diverse genres, including classical, neo-classical, jazz, folk, country, soul, musical theatre & soundtracks
