Overview

To facilitate the smooth running of various aspects of the department. In particular retail marketing, media tagging, maintaining schedules and creation of planning tools to aid the wider Sales team.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Commercial Sales team and the labels.

  • Sales Reports: responsible for building and circulating critical sales info to the wider company, including, release schedules, marketing reports, pre-order reports, competitor schedules etc.
  • Record and update all retail marketing plans (and spends).
  • Raise purchase orders and track approvals - facilitate payment.
  • To be the point of contact from retailer marketing departments, D2C partners & media agencies to the Sales team.
  • Seek approvals (both internally and externally) T.V, digital and radio ads.
  • Ensure all retail marketing guidelines are up-to-date and are communicated thoroughly.
  • Maintenance of music release schedules, TV tagging documents, sales markers, product suite allocations.
  • Attend label scheduling meetings
  • Organise distribution of new release music to both physical and digital retail partners
  • Create Sony’s annual Q4 retail presentation on Keynote.
  • General administrative support to the media and research department

  • Proven administration experience within a sales environment
  • Must demonstrate the ability to plan and organise effectively and have the strength of character to chase people senior than themselves in order to achieve deadlines.  
  • Attention to detail and managing information are paramount to this role.
