  • Overview

    To provide flawless PA support to the MD, Syco Music.

    Responsibilities

    • To be the first point of contact for the MD, liaising with contacts and senior management internally and externally. Working closely with Marketing, A&R and Syco TV teams.
    • Act as the point person for all our internal teams, with an overarching view of timelines across our business, ensuring these are adhered to.
    • Managing internal teams – Resource organisation / HR related advice / Annual leave Approval / Direct report approvals for travel and expenses.
    • Liaising with internal senior executives (including international colleagues) and external contacts (including artists, managers, songwriters and producers) ensuring queries/calls are dealt with professionally and efficiently at all times.
    • Extensive diary management - managing demanding personal and work schedules, ensuring that appropriate meetings and people are given priority. Acting as the gate keeper.
    • Arranging meetings on behalf of the MD, managing agendas as well as making arrangements such as accommodation, transportation and sourcing appropriate facilities.
    • Organising and managing international travel itineraries (booking accommodation, cars, flights etc)
    • Providing general administrative support as required including: managing correspondence, booking meeting rooms, organising travel, ordering bikes/couriers, expenses, direct report approvals for travel/expenses and ensuring smooth running of the MD’s office.

    Person Specifications

    Essential

    • Able to demonstrate significant PA/Exec Assistant experience supporting senior level executives
    • Able to demonstrate advanced use of Microsoft Office packages including Powerpoint or Keynote presentations and analysis of information
    • Organised, efficient, proactive, team player
    • Passion for music
    • Previous experience at a record label or within the music industry

     

    Preferred

    • Previous experience successfully managing own project workload in addition to functions within traditional PA support
    • Office management including involvement in managing department budgets for office costs, approval of department travel, expenses and annual leave management
