  • Overview

    We have a fantastic new opportunity for someone wanting to start, or develop, their career in FInance to join our team. You will have the chance to work across two major label supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Head of Finance in delivering accurate budgets, forecasts and results for RCA and Ministry of Sound. We are looking for someone with an understanding of finance and relevant work experience/ qualifications, with a passion for Music. This role is an entry level opportunity to learn more and grow within the business.




    • Provide Head of Finance with support in delivering accurate budgets, forecasts and results as required.
    • A  considerable amount of your responsibility will be to assist the label with purchasing and invoicing, ensuring purchase orders are issued and invoices processed correctly.
    • Provide accurate and timely analysis and reporting. Including variance analysis of actual results against forecast.
    • Month end duties to include journal preparation and posting of accruals.
    • Assist the label with purchasing and invoicing, ensuring purchase orders are issued and invoices processed correctly.
    • Supporting the Head of Finance and wider business on ad hoc projects as required.
    • Maintain a good working knowledge of Excel, SAP, Business Warehouse, Integrated Planning and the Purchasing System.
    • Maintain a good understanding of management accounting and study for CIMA qualification to enhance their financial and business knowledge.
    • To assist Head of Finance achieve Budget target for the division and help maximise profitability.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with non-finance staff to help ensure accurate forecasts.

    Person Specifications

    We are looking for someone who is passionate to have a career in finance, ideally you will have 1 years’ experience in a similar role or internship and a desire to start a professional accounting qualification. We would love a candidate who is passionate about music and is keen to grow in this environment. 




    • Experience of working within a business environment, ideally in a finance position
    • Degree level educated ideally, although those with considerable work experience in a similar position will be considered. 
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Time management skills, ability to work in a fast paced enviroment 
    • Confident in dealing with creative professionals
    • Proactive
    • Works well to tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail


    • Finance experience
    • Related industry experience
    • Working towards CIMA qualification
    • Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Objectives
